Microsoft .NET Framework |

BDG are now
developing Software using the Microsoft .NET framework of
technologies. This does mean that if the Microsoft .NET
framework has not already been installed on your machine it will
need to be before installing some of our latest Software.
To check if the .NET framework has already been installed on
your machine check in the Control Panel, Add Remove programs. If
you can see the Microsoft .NET framework in the list then you
already have it installed on your machine. |

| The .NET
framework is Microsoft's solution to the problems of file
versioning and file conflicts between installed applications.
There are two ways to install the .NET framework, either
downloading and installing using the Microsoft website or
downloading the setup file from our website. |

| Note: You must also be
running Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or later for all
installations of the .NET Framework |

| MDAC 2.8 |
|
|
|
In
simple terms, MDAC is a set of DLLs that allows BDG's applications to
talk to different databases. Without them, some applications will
likely produce some kind of database error when you try running them. |
